Christmas Promise.

Christmas Promise:

Howdy friends,

Suddenly, God’s angel stood among them, and God’s glory blazed around them.
They were terrified. The angel said, Don’t be afraid. I’m here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide.1.

Written by Isaac Watts, “Joy to the World” has become one of the most familiar and most treasured of Christmas carols. It’s clear message is a theme of joy and love, in place of sin and sorrow.

Joy to the World was not and is not a good-for-nothing guarantee which God has told the world. Instead, it’s a promise, a real life experience revealed to us through God’s most extraordinary Christmas gift to all people – His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ!

Actually, the promise, from way back yonder, is just as effective today as was over 2000 years ago! Such a promise gives us hope and blesses our hearts for all times, especially during this Christmas season.

What a gift!

This is how much God loved the world! He gave His Son, His one and only Son.

And here’s why: so that no one need be destroyed! By believing in Him, you and I or anyone can have a whole and everlasting life.

God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending His Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to fix man- kind by putting the world right again.

Anyone who trusts in Him is acquitted! Anyone who refuses to trust Him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it.

And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to Him.2.

Here and now, Every person! This is the real and, oh, so relevant message of Christmas. A joyful message meant for everybody worldwide. – The Saviour is born!

“Joy to the World! The Lord is come! Let earth receive her King! Let every heart prepare him room, And Heaven and angels sing!”

For the Christian the importance of this significant event goes further than just a date in the calendar.

The message that Christmas brings is a daily life style experience – real and eternal.

A relationship with Jesus Christ Himself. A life of love, joy and peace.

“Not just for Christmas, but let Christ be for life.”

So, enjoy your Christmas-from us to you.
